Archon shows you the real sky and talks with you about it. Here is what we keep, why, who else sees it, and how to take it with you or delete it.

Who we are

Archon is run by Zealot Analytics LLC. Questions or requests about your data: support@zealotanalytics.com.

What we keep

  • Your email, name and password (the password is stored scrambled, never as text). If you sign in with Google or Meta, we get your name and email from them, nothing else.
  • Your birth date, birth time if you give it, and birth city. We need these to draw your sky.
  • Your chats with Archon, and short notes about you (like “has a cello solo next month”) so you don't have to repeat yourself. Archon keeps a note only when you ask it to remember something, or when you add one yourself. From a chat it never notes health, sex life, religion, politics, money details, your age or private details about other people, even if you ask; you can add a note like that yourself. Passwords and codes are never kept. You can see, change and delete every note.
  • What you write in “About you” and how you'd like Archon to talk, if you fill them in.
  • How your days felt, if you use the daily check-in.
  • Reports you send (with the text you reported) and people you block, so we can act on them and keep blocked people away. A report about someone stays after they delete their account, so we can still act on it.
  • When you agreed that your messages can go to the AI model.
  • People you add: their name, birthday and birth city. Only you can see them.
  • If you turn on reminders, a code from your browser that lets us send them, and your time zone so they arrive in the daytime.
  • Your answers to “Two of you” questions. Only you and that one person see them, and only once you've both answered. Archon doesn't read them.
  • If you tap “I'll look” for a full Moon or meteor shower, the people connected to you see that you'll look, and later that you did. Never where you are.
  • When something breaks in the app, a short crash report: what went wrong, which page, and your browser type. Never what you typed.

What stays on your device

  • Where you're looking up from. We start from a guess based on your time zone. Your device location is only used if you choose “Use my location”, and it isn't sent to us or saved.
  • Small settings in your browser, like which hints you've seen and whether you're signed in.

Who else sees it

  • To write Archon's replies and notes, and to check that a note from a chat isn't about something Archon never keeps, your messages and the parts of your chart they need are sent to an AI model (DeepSeek's model) through OpenRouter. Your “About you”, how you'd like Archon to talk, and the notes that fit your question go with them. We only allow hosts that don't keep or train on what they receive. These hosts can be outside your country, including the US.
  • If that service is down, Google's Gemini writes Archon's replies instead, so the same text is sent to Google directly under Google's API terms. Notes wait until the first service is back.
  • The name of your birth city is sent to map services (Open-Meteo, Photon by Komoot, OpenStreetMap's Nominatim) to find its location and time zone. Only the place name goes, not who you are.
  • Each message you send, and Archon's notes about you, are turned into numbers by OpenAI's embedding model (through OpenRouter) so Archon can find the right note.
  • If you use spoken replies from the planets (Plus), the text of each spoken reply is sent to a text-to-speech service (OpenAI, or ElevenLabs if we switch) to make the audio. Only the reply text goes, not your name or your messages. We don't keep the audio.
  • Your data is stored with our hosting providers (Neon for the database, Render for the server, Vercel for the website).
  • Password-reset and welcome emails are sent through an email provider (Resend), which sees your email address.
  • Friends you connect with see your first name and your Sun, Moon and rising signs. Never your birth date, time, place or chats. Your shared birth-sky card is different: the image shows what's printed on it (your name, birth date, and unless you leave them off, your birth time and town), to anyone you send it to.
  • You can choose to share your full chart with a friend: where your planets sit to the degree, your houses and how your planets connect. You choose it for each friend, when you join through a link, or for a card link you make. A friend can ask once; you can say yes or “not now”, and they aren't told you said no. Your birth date, time and place are never shown, but a full chart hints at them: someone who knows astrology could work out roughly when you were born. You can go back to your big three any time in Your people, and it takes effect right away. When you stop travelling together, sharing ends both ways.
  • When you ask Archon about you and a friend, it compares your chart with what that friend shares with you: their big three, or their full chart if they chose to share it.
  • We don't sell your personal data, and nothing is shared with advertisers or partners.
  • If you turn on “Add to shared sky stats”, your check-ins count anonymously in group stats (groups under 50 people are never shown). It's off until you turn it on.

How long

  • We keep your data while you have an account.
  • Chats you don't pin are deleted after 30 days.
  • Notes stay until you delete them or your account. They stay after the chat they came from is deleted. Notes about plans stop being used 6 months after the date; they stay on your list until you delete them, or until Archon needs room for new notes.
  • When you delete your account, everything above is deleted from our database right away. Copies can last a little longer in places we don't control directly: our database host's short-term backups and our server host's logs, which roll over within days. We don't write your messages, birth details or email to the logs.

Your choices

  • Download everything we keep about you: menu, Privacy & data, “Download my data”.
  • Change your birth time or city: menu, “Your birth details”.
  • See, change or delete what Archon remembers, or delete all its notes at once (“Forget all notes”): menu, “What Archon remembers”. You can also say “forget that” in the chat. Turn off “Remember new things” and Archon adds no new notes, even if you ask in the chat; notes you add yourself are still kept.
  • Delete your check-ins, or your whole account, from Privacy & data. Deleting your account removes everything above. Can't sign in? See delete your account.
  • Turn reminders off in the menu, or in your browser settings.

Age

Archon is for people 13 and older. If someone tells Archon they're younger, we delete their chats, notes, chat summaries, “About you” and birth details straight away, and the account can't make a chart.
